TAXES & SERVICE FEES

Airline tickets, hotel reservations, and car rental bookings may include government-imposed taxes, airport charges, fuel surcharges, and service fees. These charges vary based on itinerary, destination, carrier, and service type and are subject to change without prior notice.

Below is a general overview of commonly applied taxes and fees associated with travel bookings made through ZippoAir.

AIRLINE TAXES & GOVERNMENT FEES

Applicable on all flights operated by Israeli airlines, regardless of origin or destination. 		Each Way AP $4.00

U.S. Travel Facilities Tax (Alaska & Hawaii)

Applied on select flights traveling to or from Alaska and Hawaii. 		Domestic & International US $10.60 (One Way) / $21.20 (Round Trip)*

U.S. Flight Segment Tax

Charged per flight segment for itineraries including domestic U.S. travel. 		Domestic & International ZP $4.80 per segment*

U.S. Excise Transportation Tax

Applied to flights within the United States and select border zones. 		U.S. Domestic US 7.5% of base airfare*

Passenger Facility Charge (PFC)

Airport-imposed charge used for facility upgrades (maximum of four charges per itinerary). 		Per U.S. Arrival XF $4.50 per charge*

September 11th Security Fee

Supports U.S. aviation security operations. 		Domestic & International AY $5.60 one-way (Max $11.20 round-trip)*

U.S. International Transportation Tax

Levied on international flights departing from or arriving in the U.S., Puerto Rico, or U.S. Virgin Islands. 		International US $21.10

APHIS Fee (Agriculture Inspection)

Applied to international arrivals into the U.S. (excluding Canada). 		International XA $3.83

U.S. Immigration User Fee

Charged on all international arrivals into U.S. territories. 		International XY $7.00

U.S. Customs User Fee

Applies to passengers arriving from international locations. 		International YC $6.52

International Taxes & Airport Fees

Includes foreign government, airport, and security charges imposed by international authorities. 		International Varies May range up to several hundred dollars*

Online Airline Booking Service Fee (Non-Refundable)

Charged per passenger for airline ticket bookings. 		Domestic & International Service Fee Up to $30 per passenger

Online Hotel Booking Service Fee

Charged per room, per night. 		Hotel Reservations Service Fee Up to $35 per night

Online Car Rental Service Fee

Charged per rental booking. 		Car Rentals Service Fee $14.00 per rental

  • Multi-airline or high-risk routes: Fees may be up to $30 per passenger
